Each member of our organization
has cultivated his career in the industry which we service today. I was the Vice President of Sales for
a heating products manufacturer, responsible for the development of sales programs, and the management of both national accounts
and multiple sales forces. Christine was the Director of Marketing for a manufacturing firm, responsible
for the development of new products and packaging, promotional programs and advertising. Sam Thiel has extensive experience
on “both sides” of the hardlines market. As the National Sales Manager and, subsequently, the
General Manager of a building products manufacturer he sold. As the co-owner of a development company which
constructed 1,046 custom homes, he bought.

United Marketing Force is a full-service sales agency which
offers professional marketing assistance to both our factories and our customers. Because
we represent a limited number of select lines, each manufacturer realizes the maximum results.
With your help, we develop an appropriate marketing strategy and a sales plan, establishing objectives on an account-by-account
basis. Specialized emphasis is placed on the development of promotional and merchandising
programs to gain greater awareness among retailers and consumers.
Our planning and promotional activities are coordinated
through our headquarters in Chicago. Utilizing our own computerized database and sales reports, we are able to identify
and to maximize sales opportunities. Within a short time, we are aggressively
promoting your line to the proper and complete account base in our marketing area.
By providing a full range of customer support services,
United Marketing Force not only “sells-in” for the manufacturer, but helps “sell-through” the product
to the ultimate consumer. We conduct sales training meetings and implement incentive
programs for distributors’ sales personnel. We provide complete store detailing
and service programs for retailers inclusive of doing new store sets and building special displays; maintaining point-of-sale
videos, signage and literature; taking inventory and soliciting reorders; refilling display racks from back stock; and conducting
product knowledge seminars for store personnel. To accommodate the specialized
need of dealer coops, we complete and maintain vendor data forms, design appropriate drop ship forms and ad layouts, and plan
advance promotions. In collaboration with the manufacturers we represent, we
develop and implement pre-show mailings and specialized drop shipment programs and promotions.
All members of our organization regularly work the dealer markets and shows sponsored by the wholesalers, distributors
and co-ops that we sell.
